We made and run Mermaid Adventure Tours, but who are we?

Hi, my name is Sally. I'm married, mother of two, and have been scuba certified for two years. Before becoming certified I had been on many snorkeling trips. After seeing the wonders of the ocean from the surface, I wanted to "dive deeper" and see them close up. I also wanted to share these wonders with other women. Thus, Mermaid Adventure Tours was born!

john John P. Sutter

Why did I agree to help in the start of Mermaid Adventure Tours, LLC? Simple, really. I am a retired Department of Defense Supervisory Accountant, and, with my accounting background, knew I could put my experience to use for the company. Being able to work together with my wife, Sally, and our friends Dave and Delcie is something I look forward to.

delcie Delcie Sharpe

I got certified in Oahu back in '93. I love the tropics and have snorkeled and dived in Australia, Pohnpei, Guam, Maui, and Big Island as well as Oahu. I also love exploring top side and relaxing with a good book.

dave Dave Sharpe

I'm a retired Community Development Professor from Montana State University. My research on nature-based tourism in the West and Africa revealed a strong interest in women only trips. We've tried to design these trips to serve that interest.

Personnaly I got into diving and snorkeling during Peace Corps training on Molokai in 1966. Since then I've had the good fortune to dive and snorkle in Kenya, Australia, Pohnpei, Guam, American Samoa, Mexico, the Keys, Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island of Hawaii. Gotta love the tropics!
